MEDIA RELEASEAD HOC ANNOUNCEMENT PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 53 OF THE SIX EXCHANGE REGULATION LISTING RULES Baar, April 24, 2025 On February 20, 2025, the Forbo Group announced that CEO Jens Fankhänel was temporarily taking a step back from the operational business for health reasons. Since then, CFO Andreas Jaeger has headed the Forbo Group as CEO ad interim. Although he has been making good progress in his recovery, Jens Fankhänel has decided to not return to his function as CEO Forbo Group. He will leave the company on April 30, 2025, and pursue other opportunities outside of the Forbo Group going forward. The entire Board of Directors would like to thank Jens Fankhänel for his enormous commitment and wish him all the best for the future. The search for a suitable successor has already begun. Andreas Jaeger will remain the CEO ad interim of the Forbo Group until further notice and is working closely together with the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Bernhard Merki.
